Ethel Womack (Baker), 83, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away February 9th, 2022. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nina (Lawrence) Baker, her brother JR Baker, sister Louise (Baker) Rhoades, and brother Alvin Baker. She is survived by her daughter Sandra West (David) and granddaughter Tia West, both of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Morgan and brothers Lonnie Baker (Janet) and Kenneth Baker (Elaine) as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Ethel was born in Big Flat, Arkansas on April 27th, 1938, to John and Nina Baker. She moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1958 after graduating from Big Flat High School. Over the years, she worked for Southwestern Bell, Montgomery Wards, and finally retired from Roberts Dairy. During retirement she split her time between Mountain View, AR and Mesa, AZ.
Ethel enjoyed visiting with family and friends and reminiscing about the good old days. She particularly enjoyed her regular visits to Hardees when in Mountain View. She always looked forward to attending her class reunions and homecoming events in Big Flat.
Visitation for Ethel will be from 6-8 PM Friday, February 18, 2022 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas. A graveside service will be 2 PM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Pordue Cemetery near Onia, Arkansas. Brother Junior Barham will officiate.

I did not know Ethel well, but on several occasions I had an opportunity to spend some time with her when I was in Arizona visiting my dear friend, Sandra. Ethel always made me feel right at home. I know she will be missed by her friends and family, especially Sandra and Tia. May their cherished memories give them comfort today and in the days to follow. God bless.
