I think of Herman, and I smile that he liked my letters. I wrote to Grace, but he liked to get my cards and letters as well. I started to address the mail to Herman and Grace. We never met in person, but I felt like I knew him well. I was friends with Grace from our teenage years. We kept in correspondence over the years. And added Herman to our correspondence.
Grace and I are both strong in our faith in Jesus Christ. I know Herman will be missed, but Grace you may have a whole new ministry in front of you. Jesus used many examples of Widows. My favorite is "Anna" in Luke. I pray that God will comfort and bring good things for you Grace. I send my condolences for Herman, God will never leave you Grace, stay close to Jesus

Herman and I have been friends for almost 60 years and I will miss talking to him about old times. However, my friend, this is only for a season and we will meet again on those glorious streets of gold and in the presence of Saviour. So as what's been said before, "See you later my friend. "
