Paul Sims, 54, of Magazine, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 12, 1967 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents, Ronny Sims and Carol (Downs) Smith.
Paul worked for many years at the Subiaco Farmer's Co-Op and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Magazine.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Charlene Downs and Billie Sims; one sister, Crystal Howard and his step father, Gary Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Smith of Magazine; his father, Ronny Sims and wife Karren of New Braunfels, Texas; his grandfather, Clifton Sims of Magazine; one daughter, Brooklyn Renee Meyers and Keith of Fort Smith; two sons, Bryant Paul Sims of Paris and Macallen James Sims and Brianne of Fort Smith; two step-daughters, Leslie Stinnett of Clarksville and Kimberly Elliot of Ozark; five sisters, Sherry Tilden of Aubrey, Texas, Jeanette Varela and Chris of Phoenix, Arizona, Veronica Maynard and Jeff of Poteau, Oklahoma and Bobbe Ann Bennett of Little Rock and Ronnie ''Tooter'' Scott and Josh of Magazine; two brothers, Cary Wayne Smith and Cheryl of Magazine and Calvin Bennett of Booneville; his significant other, Bonnie Denham of Magazine; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Tammy Frederick. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Magazine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Clifton Hice, Keith Downs, Calvin Bennett, Gabe Stevens, Josh Scott, John Barlow and Darren Cox.
