of Omaha, AR

September 24, 1948 - January 18, 2022

Jerry Lee Rand, age 73, of Omaha, went home Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was born September 24, 1948, in Boone County, Arkansas, to Bill and Mabel (Head) Rand. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob Rand of Omaha; and one daughter, Tami Hurley of Kansas.

He loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a faithful reader of God's word. He loved his family and teaching the grandkids how to fish, hunt, and trap as his father showed him. Every day as he would go down to feed his dogs, he would stop and walk down to a special tree to pray.

My favorite memory of Jerry is the look on his face and the way he laughed the day I brought him the “hair fairy” figurine. He was one of a kind. We will make sure the stories about him get passed to these two precious grand-babies.We will be praying for all of you during this time of loss.

Liz and family.
