Ruth Conner, 81, a resident of Paris passed away Monday, January 17, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Paris.
She was born November 12, 1940, in Paris to the late Joel and Oma Jane (Schouweiler) Tyler. Ruth married Houston Conner on July 12, 1958, in Paris. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Paris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Tygart, a brother, Charles Tyler and a son-in-law, Danny Doyle Roper.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Houston Conner of Paris; a son, Charles Conner of Paris; a daughter, Kathy Roper of Paris; three grandchildren, Amanda Huck, Caelan Conner and Jason Roper and five great grandchildren, Lindsey and Rebbecca Huck and Jacob, James and Faith Roper.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, at First Assembly of God in Paris with Rev. Wayne Thacker officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Caelan Conner, Keith Bullock, Airie Green, Larry White, David Roberts, Troy Cunningham and Fred McCauley. Honorary pallbearers will be James Spicer, and Amanda, Rebbecca and Lindsey Huck.

God was ready for another angel for his Heavenly trio one day we will see her again walking those streets of gold n singing praises to the king of kings. Put your trust n faith in Jesus.
