of Harrison, AR
May 26, 1935 - December 16, 2021
Sagrario Calonder, age 86, passed away December 16, 2021, at Somerset Senior Living of Harrison, Arkansas. She was born May 26, 1935, to Peter Vida and Margarita (Agasse) Desjardines in Honduras.
Born in Honduras where she met the love of her life Ward for over 60 years. She came to the States and became a citizen. She kept herself busy with 6 children and a job at Sears in Chicago. She then retired with Ward to Harrison and continued their love with the S&W Ranch on the Hill. She loved her time as a volunteer at the Hospital and her many visit to Wal-Mart. Also, her many pets including 9 dogs and llamas, pigs, ducks, birds, and countless others. Can't stop Saga from talking and engaging, that was her true passion and we will miss that.
Sagrario is survived by her children, Ward Calonder, Victoria Markley, Margarita Jackson, Christine Mannix, Denise Cryler, and Peter Calonder; eleven grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She loved her wonderful grandkids and beautiful great-grandchildren deeply.
A Mass will be held on March 26, 2022, at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church at 12:00 P.M.
Sagra was full of passion for her children, grandchildren, and her animals. She and Ward would do anything for them. They also loved their church.
I enjoyed our annual Christmas shopping trips for many years and will miss her zest for life.
Sending prayers for her beloved family. Rest in peace Sagra.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss, sending you and your family prayers. She was a sweet, high-spirited lady, and loved life. Melissa
