Johnnie Alfred Puckett Sr. passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 29, 1946. His parents were Alvin Andrew Puckett and Elsie Virgieanna Hall.
He is preceded in death by three sisters, Gloria Williams, Linda Thornbrew and Gladys Manson.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Puckett; sisters, Diane Boone, Alvie Bearden, Patricia Bearden (Roy), and Shirly Hardin; one brother, Alvin Puckett; six children, Johnnie Puckett Jr., Tina Stuckey, Tammy Marshall, Rhonda Van Horn, Elizabeth Deering and Timmy Morrison; 13 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Johnnie drove a concrete truck for over 40 years. His career started with Gillian Brothers and he retired from Southern Star. His parents, along with eight siblings, grew up in Little Rock. The family spent many long summer days around the area of Fair Park and the zoo. Johnnie loved to hunt and fish.
A service will be held at the Saline Missionary Baptist Church (Tull) in Benton, AR at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 27, 2021, a visitation from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. and interment following at Ebenezer Cemetery in Tull.
