Sara Lynn Haley Johnson, 81, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord and beloved family and friends in Heaven on Sunday, December 5, 2021. She was born September 20, 1940, in Palestine, Texas, to Edgar Lee Haley and Alva Haley.
She was valedictorian of her graduating class at Oakwood High School and attended Sam Houston State at Huntsville, Texas.
Sara enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who she loved to spoil. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the UA Little Rock men's and woman's basketball teams. She also loved reading and painting. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dr. Judy Lewis; and a grandson, Alex Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, James Johnson; sons, Clint (Connie) Johnson of Benton and Jeff (Mariette) Johnson of Little Rock; and grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson; Troy (Jordan) Johnson; Anna (John) Deramus; Hannah Drennen; and Grace Drennen; and great-grandchildren, Bryce Johnson and Aiden Johnson.
The family is very thankful to the staff at Southern Trace of Bryant and Memory Care of Little Rock for their loving care.
