Mrs. Rosa Almond, 94, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Mountain Home. She was born November 15, 1927 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Ben and Theresa (Riney) Arnold. She was a former member of the Memorial Christian Church in Mountain Home. She loved working in the yard growing flowers, bird watching, and fishing, but she especially loved raising her kids and grandkids.
Rosa is survived by 3 sons: Dave Almond (Peggy), Wayne Almond (Sandy), Jimmy Almond (Kimberly); daughter: Linda Parker (Jim); 6 grandchildren: Sara Kerr (James), Amber Harding (Brad), Tiffany Stone (Rusty), Austin Almond (Delaney), Amy Hughes (Jacob), and Justin Parker; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held between 2-3:00pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Roller Funeral Home with funeral services to follow. Interment will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens.
I am so saddened by her passing. Was a very dear friend since 1965 when I met her. Prayers for all the family!
