Dovie Jean Carmichael, 77, of Greenbrier went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She was born June 8, 1944 in Conway to the late Claud James and Retha Howard Lee. Jean was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rebekah Wright, nephew, Dennis McCasland, brothers, John D. Lee and Everette ''Eb'' McCasland, and life-long friend, Greg Sallis.

Jean is survived by her husband, Franklin ''Bucky'' Carmichael, daughter, Staci Daily (Don), three grandchildren, Jay, Rachel, and Jordan Wright, God granddaughter, Megan Sallis, sister-in-law, Pam Lee, nieces, Stephanie Mulkerins, Natalie and Melonie Lee, nephews, Donald and Ricky McCasland, great nieces Georgia Mulkerins, Addison Rodriguez, Brianna Wells and great nephews, Brandon Rush, Nick Rush, Pierce Rodriguez and Kadin Wells.

Jean was a member of The Church of The Nazarene in Greenbrier. She was employed with Nokia for over 30 years. Jean loved spending time with her family especially watching her husband participate in rodeos and attending her grandkids sports activities. She also enjoyed gardening and hummingbirds. Jean will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be at 2pm Friday, December 3, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, with a graveside service following at 2:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Foundation, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203-9984

I’m so sorry to hear Jeanie has left us I worked with her years ago at international shoe co. She was a sweet person. I admired her. She had lots of friends and I am proud to be her friend Prayers for the family
