Robert Easton Bogardus, 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 21, 2021. He was the son of the late Howard and Laura (Easton) Bogardus.
He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1958 when he was honorably discharged. He worked most of his years in the insurance industry, retiring from Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 1996. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and helping out at Edinboro Church camp. He served as an elder, deacon, trustee, and treasurer and Girard Alliance church where he was a member for over 40 years.
He was survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy, his sons: Matt, Kevin (Andrea), and Jason (Julie). Also, his six grandchildren: Aubrey, Alyssa, Rogan, Asher, Callum, and Eden.
There will be a private service in Little Rock with a celebration of life service following sometime in the future in Pennsylvania.

Jenny and I were saddened to hear of Bob’s passing and your loss. I remember many delightful conversations at the church and golf outings. He was always full of the joy of the Lord and intentional about making you laugh with funny stories/memories. So sorry for your loss but now he’s home and I’m sure there’s a party going on in heaven! I wonder if he and Dad will be golfing… probably building mansions… miss them all so much. We love you and are praying for you…

It was a pleasure knowing Bob. He would always brighten your day with his humorous stories and Experiences . Always kind and easygoing. Bob’s love for the Lord was evident in everything he did. He was a Godly example of a man that loved the Lord ,took pleasure talking about his sons and grand kids and showed us the importance of making our spouses a priority. Looking forward to seeing him again in eternity. So sorry for your loss. â¤ï¸

I am so sorry for your loss. Although my time of knowing Mr. Bob was short in time, his generosity, kindness and being a good friend to Abbey and loving on here like he did will last forever in my heart.
