Larry Dale Brown, 75, of Scranton, Arkansas passed away November 2, 2021, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born August 21, 1946, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to his parents Wilber and Lois Brown. Larry was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed being outdoors, from a beekeeper, avid gardener, being on his tractor and going fishing. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilber and Lois Brown; one brother Gene Brown and one sister Gay Angel.
Larry is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Ann Brown; two daughters, Laura and Christine; seven grandchildren; one brother, James Brown of Colt Arkansas; one sister, Tommie Milton of Colt, Arkansas and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation service will be 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Clarksville, Arkansas.
Mr. Brown's service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Oden and Bro. Sory officiating. Burial will be at Spadra Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.
I have only just now learned of Pumphandle's passing. I am truly sorry for your loss. Larry was an amazing friend, colleague, and mentor.
So sorry to hear about Larry's passing. He was a great man. Keith worked with him for many year at River Valley and really enjoyed talking to him. He will really be miss by all who new and loved him. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
So sorry for your loss. Really liked Larry and appreciated his friendship. Still remember him taking me float fishing using jugs and hotdogs with cool aid. That was first for me. Thankful for the strawberry plants he gave me and the surprise cheery trees. He was a special person! I am thankful to you and your friendship also. Still using you recipe for churn pickles. You will be in my prayers for comfort from our Lord and Savior Jesus.
