Roxie Noralee (Yancey) Creamer, age 91, of Harrison, quietly passed away amongst her family Saturday, October 30 (2021) at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was born December 26, 1929, in Snowball, Arkansas, the daughter of Chester and Ruie (Wortman) Yancey. Roxie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of almost 67 years, Troy Creamer.
Roxie graduated from Hopewell Schools in 1948. She was married in August 1948 to Troy Creamer and joined him upon his completion of US Air Force Basic Training. Troy served 28 years in the US Air Force, during which Roxie worked at many jobs and volunteered with organizations wherever they were stationed. In addition, she used her passion for bowling to inspire host country relations while stationed overseas.
Upon returning to Harrison, Roxie worked for many years at Edwards Grocery Store. Additionally, Roxie devoted many hours to all activities her children and grandchildren were involved with and would be seen at any sporting game her grandchildren were playing. Roxie loved her family, life on the farm, and serving in numerous capacities throughout the community.
Roxie is survived by her daughter, Roxana Creamer, of Harrison; her son and daughter-in-law, Col. (Retired) Duane Creamer and Col. (Retired) Marlesa Scott, of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren Chance Martin and wife Ashlie of Harrison, Bingo Colliver and husband John of Boise Idaho, Isabel Creamer of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Brianna Creamer of San Antonio Texas; one great-granddaughter, Weslyn Martin, of Harrison; and a host of other family.
Visitation was Friday, November 5, 2021, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
The funeral service was Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Attendees are encouraged to bring written memories of Roxie to be retained by the family to be read later to remember her.
Pallbearers were John Colliver, Chance Martin, Landon Chambers, Tommy Creamer, Tim Creamer, and Duane Creamer.
The honorary pallbearer was Bill Creamer.
Interment was in Hopewell Cemetery.

I know you all have wonderful memories of your Mother and Grandmother. And that’s what you hold on to. I remember seeing her at all the games I was at. I know you grandkids, Bingo and Chance were doted on the way all Grandparents wish they could. She was very blessed and you were all blessed to have each other in your lives. Love you all. Jeana
