I worked with Ms. Brown for the past 4 years at SHHS and will def miss her greeting me every morning as I came into the office. It was always "And how is Ms. WIggins doing this morning?". She made it impossible for me to come in the door in a bad mood. Please know that even though she is gone her presence is still greatly felt here at SHHS. I will forever be thankful for the talks I had with her and her amazing ability to remember everything I would tell her about my kids, family, or different events in my life. I will continue to pray for the family during this time, and I will continue to smile whenever I have thoughts of dear Lady Brown.

Unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to meet Mrs. Brown, but everyone in the District Business office often spoke very fondly of her, and she was well respected for her bookkeeping expertise. Her dedication and commitment was certainly the prototype for what an employee and a productive member of society should be. I was told when asked why she wouldn’t retire, she would just respond “There is no way.” That spoke volumes to her love for what she did, and the students at Sylvan Hills High School. We probably will never know the number of lives she touched, the number of problems she solved, or the number of tears she cried for students and with students. But we know she left behind an unmatched legacy of dedication and commitment. And I am sure she will have many rewards waiting for her in her heavenly home. Who knows she will probably be doing accounting there.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Brown family.

It is impossible foe me to imagine SHHS without Patsy. I worked there with her for 37 years until I retired. She was always sweet and super efficient. I could go to her with any questions, and she would know the answer or help me find it. I know she will be greatly missed by the district but especially by her family. My warmest condolences go to her loved ones.

Patsy Brown was truly a sweetheart!!! I worked with Patsy for many years at SHHS. She was a joy to work with and was an asset to the school. She paid attention to the budget and would always remind me if extra money was available in the budget to spend. She was a listening ear with good advice. That smile will always remembered. Condolences to the entire family. Keep those precious memories in your hearts!! May God bless you!

Ms. Patsy Brown was an absolute jewel with her quick wit and sharp eye for details. I worked with her over the past 10 years at Sylvan Hills High School and I could always check-in with her on various concerns and she almost immediately could recall the situation even while out of her office. I vividly remember her questioning many orders and determining what fund source or code they were to be under and such, as she was always a good steward of our funds within our department. This is such sad news and she will be dearly missed. Rest in Love Ms. Patsy Brown.

To the Brown family,
It is deep sadness we are feeling at her leaving, but a joy in the knowledge of knowing Miss Patsy is now in the presence of God. She was a breath of fresh air every morning upon entering the SHHS office, telling her "Good morning", and having her ask the multitude of questions she asked; each one showing how much she cared for me (for each of us) and how she at times could pray for me or my family. Thank you for sharing her with us, one of the many groups that felt the love and concern of Patsy Brown. She will be greatly missed at this place.

It was my pleasure and great honor to serve alongside Mrs. Brown at Sylvan Hills. I started there in 1982 as a young pup fresh out of college. Over the years, she encouraged me to be a good a father for my kids. She gave me an example in her life of how to be there for my family and my grandkids. I will miss her smile that greeted me mornings at seven and her good words of wisdom on loving my family. To her family, please be encouraged when you look at the empty chair at family gatherings and holidays and know she’s celebrating this time and the holiday with Jesus and other family members in Heaven. You are all in my prayers.

You lead by example and were always willing to explain the process. I was proud to have been one of your colleagues at SHHS. Many administrators came and went, but your dedication to your work and the students kept that place running. I truly appreciate all you did to help me during my time there. You have earned your rest. Much respect and loyalty to the Mama Bear who kept that place running. You are a Legend.
