January 16, 1932 - October 13, 2021

Margaret Geneva Williams, 89, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her home. She was born January 16, 1932 in Round Pond, AR to John Oliver and Myrtle (Cross) Lamons. She worked for Head Start for 20 years until retirement. She loved crafting, quilting, fishing and travel.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Aubrey Williams; two sisters, Edna Whittingham and Nancy Hosman; and two brothers, John and Carl Lee Lamons.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Margaret include three sons, Billy Williams, Jerry Williams and Kerry Williams; grandchildren, Amy Lynn Williams, Carsley Paige Fuller and Sarah Megan Williams; great grandchildren, Aubrey Preston Williams, Mackenzie Williams, Ethan Williams and Jocelyn Fuller; two brothers, James Lamons and Robert Lamons; and sisters, Janie Whittingham, Mary Taylor, Betty Burch and Patricia Sanford.

Graveside services will be 3 pm Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery with Albert Camp officiating.

Visitation will precede the service from 1 pm to 2 pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.

Kenneth and I were introduced to Margaret and Orbe by my brother, William Rice. We were instant friends. Four couples spent our retirement years camping at Mt. View, Maumelle Park in Little Rock and crafting at each other’s homes. Such fond memories.

Aunt Margaret is loved very much and will be missed dearly. Her house was always full of fun and laughter. She was a very kind, loving and generous person with a beautiful heart. I'll cherish every memory with her. ❤
