Lorenzo James (Jim) Dow, 77, of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away October 9, 2021, in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was born June 10, 1944, in Worland, Wyoming, to his parents Lorenzo Edward and Geska (Tschigg) Dow. Jim enjoyed shooting guns at the Clarksville gun range. He loved to read, he was a history buff, he read the whole entire group of encyclopedias from the beginning to the end. Jim had his pilots license and he enjoyed flying and he also enjoyed restoring old cars. Jim served on the board for Clarksville Airport Commission, and he owned his own business Auto Electric Service in Clarksville, Arkansas. Jim spent four years in the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lorenzo Edward and Geska (Tschigg) Dow, and one brother Joseph Dow.
Jim is survived by his wife of 56 years, Imogene Dorreen Dow of Clarksville Arkansas; one daughter Lisa Gay Dow Mathews and son-in-law Anthony Trent Mathews of Maumelle, Arkansas; two grandchildren Preston Allen Johnson of Clarksville, Arkansas; and Haylee Elizabeth Mathews of Springdale, Arkansas; one sister Martha Dow Robinson and brother-in-law Buford (B. C.) Robinson of Nashville, Tennessee.
Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Bartzsch officiating. Cremation will follow.

Jim was a good friend and a genius on the mechanics of cars. He was a great co-owner of our airplane and an excellent pilot. We will miss him very much. As a good provider, husband and father,he will be missed by those and the many people he served over the years.

Yo….yo… Loronzeo…. It’s me…Vacky… Thank you for being such a great mentor and being my second father..
