of Little Rock, AR

March 30, 1949 - September 11, 2021

Janice Marie Montgomery, age 72, of Little Rock, died peacefully at home on September 11, 2021. She was born on March 30, 1949, in Conway, Arkansas, to Virgil F. and Mary Jane Montgomery as their only living child. She was preceded in death by her parents and a younger infant sister.

Janice was a medical technician and spent her working career at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. She enjoyed taking her parents on sight-seeing trips all over Arkansas and several other states. After her parents died, she became an international traveler, taking a number of trips with a small cruise line which specializes in nature adventure travel. Janice also became very interested in photography, which tied in with her travels.

Janice was a member of the Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Due to the Covid pandemic, a graveside service will be 1:00pm on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at New Liberty Cemetery (approximately 8 miles east of Conway, off US Highway 64), where Janice will be put to rest beside her parents.

Janice was a very sweet lady, she didn’t speak bad of anyone. When she went on trips it was always good to see pictures and have her tell of her adventures. She will be missed.
