Cordelia "Mema" Brock

of Bee Branch, AR

January 1, 1924 - September 1, 2021

Cordelia Brock, 97, passed away on September 1, 2021 at her longtime home in Morganton, Arkansas. She was born January 1, 1924 to the late Joseph and Willie Ann (Pasley) Williams in Kirby, Arkansas.

There just isn't enough paper to begin describing who Cordelia was and what she did for her family, friends and loved ones over the years. The closest we can get to honoring her is to reference all of or any single verse of Proverbs 31. She was the epitome of a virtuous woman. Cordelia loved completely, she was loved fiercely, and she will never be forgotten.

Mothers hold their children's hands for a little while but, their hearts forever.

Cordelia was preceded in death by her parents, her entire Williams clan, her husband of 57 years, H.C. Brock, JR. and her eldest daughter, Euna Muriel Harris (Murray).

Left to cherish her memory are her seven children; Walter ''Buddy'' Brock and wife, Linda, Jerold Brock and wife, Barbara, Alfred Brock and wife, Wanda, Debbie Davis and husband, Steve, Cindy Freeman and husband, Rudy, Harvey Brock and wife Reena, Jim Brock and wife, Jennifer, 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, sisters-in-law; Violet Wooten and Eunice Dees, dear friend and ''uber driver,'' Charlene Parish and many other extended family and friends.

Graveside Service on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Bee Branch Cemetery in Bee Branch, Arkansas, behind Bee Branch Baptist Church. Her service will be led by her sons, Harvey Brock and Jim Brock. Her cherished grandsons will serve as pall bearers.

Drop in visitation is Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Cordelia wanted everyone that could possibly have one to own a bible. Please make donations in her honor to Gideons International or Bee Branch Baptist Church.

Dear Debbie, Steve, and all the Brock family:

Heaven holds another sweet mother. I met your mother one time, but instantly felt a deep kinship. We were eating at a catfish house not far from where she lived, and she and two of her sons and wives came in and ate at the table next to us. Of course we struck up a conversation about you and Steve and everyone else we knew mutually! What a joy she was, and what good times we have had with you and Steve. Hopefully, one day we will be able to meet again. God bless each one in your family and look forward to your reunion in that heavenly home.

Aunt Cordelia was one of the most loving and caring people I know. She had a way about her to let anyone know that she cared about them. She was a second mother to me when she still lived at Aubrey. My love and prayers are with you all.
