Robert D. Waggoner of 6411 Valley Ranch Drive joined his Lord's heavenly choir on August 26, 2021. He was born in Sandborn, Indiana on October 9, 1930. He had been a resident of Little Rock since 1971. On June 2, 1950 he married Barbara J. Holmes, the love of his life. A graduate of Sandborn High School and Indiana School of Business, Mr. Waggoner retired in 1995 as Senior Vice President of Marketing with P.F.L. Life (Transamerica) formerly National Old Line Insurance. He was a member of First Christian Church, Little Rock, where he previously held numerous positions of leadership. He was a faithful member of the Chancel Choir and Believers Sunday School class. He enjoyed volunteering at the Food Pantry. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 429, Edwardsport, Indiana and Elks Lodge 1004, North Little Rock.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Kremer (husband, Gery) of Lafayette, Indiana and Pamela Pierce of Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Barbara C. Waggoner of Lafayette, Indiana; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mr. Waggoner was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his son, Tommy L. Waggoner and his son-in-law, Joseph B. Pierce. Pop, you and your songs will be greatly missed.

Funeral will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at First Christian Church, 14411 Taylor Loop Road. Visitation will be at 10:00 am prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.

So sorry to lose Bob.. I loved him! Sang in choir with him and he called me Diane Harper because people were always messing up my name! But I first met him at the baseball field - Me with my boys and he watching grandsons play. May God give you peace and love at this time.
