of Benton, AR

February 20, 1929 - August 10, 2021

Robert Victor Wright, 92, of Benton, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. He was born February 20, 1929 to the late Herbert and Ann Marvin Wright.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Golda, brother, Marvin Wright, son, James Ray Cochran and grandson, Danny Brian Cochran.

Mr. Wright was a past member of Fairfield Bay Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He was happily married to Golda Marie Wallace for 53 years. Mr. Wright was retired from Arkansas Electric Co-Op.
Mr. and Mrs. Wright enjoyed many years with a group of church builders. Bob especially enjoyed being with his ''family'' at Mt. Carmel Assisted Living in Bryant. Most importantly, the family wants to say ''Thank You'' to the V.A. for all the care and support they provided to Bob. Their gratitude and appreciation for the V.A. cannot be expressed enough.

Left to cherish Robert's memory are his children; Opal Marie Howell, Jackie L. Cochran, Danny Cochran and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 pm on Friday, August 13 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. A graveside service will follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas.
