Bobby "Bob" Gene Talburt was born January 30, 1938 in Henderson, Arkansas to Luther W. and Dora Talburt. He is survived by one sister Sue Walkup of Norman, Oklahoma, One sister-in-law June Scott, one son Roger Talburt and one daughter Michelle Talburt all of Mountain Home, two grandchildren Hanna Talburt and Aaron Talburt of Fayetteville, Arkansas and a host of many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wilma Jeane (Lane) Talburt, sisters Louise Martin and Florence Baker, in laws-Coy and Ethel Lane, R.L. Martin, Ed Walkup, Bernie and Geneva (Jenny) Watkins, Earl and Bobby Lane, Ken and Kelsa Lane, Jim and Jerry Bilyeu, Wanda (Bonnie) and Doug Sasseen, Ken and Donna Martin and Jim Scott.
Spending his younger years in Henderson he went to Mountain Home School where he graduated and was proud to be a Bomber and to be a part of the 1955 All Conference Football squad. After high school he spent two years at Arkansas Tech studying Business Administration, after college he worked at the National Fish Hatchery in Norfork.
In 1959 he married Wilma Lane of Gamaliel, Arkansas. Also, in 1959 he found his niche and went to work for Hackler Men's Store on the square in Mountain Home. After 4 years he bought the store and changed the name to Talburt's Men's Store.

Bob returned home in 1999 to enjoy his family, friends, fishing the area lakes and rivers, and if there was a card game nearby that is where he would be.
