Roy Lynn Chaloner, 72, of Murfreesboro, AR, passed away on July 31, 2021. He was born January 18, 1949 in Little Rock, AR to John Thomas and Margie Mills Chaloner.
Roy was an avid Amateur Radio operator since the age of 16. The HAM radio community was a large part of his life where he met and developed life-long friendships all over the country. After retiring, Roy began his own alarm and security company, RC Alarms. He also served on the Arkansas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security for Governor Huckabee in addition to being one of the first concealed hand gun instructors in the state of Arkansas. He finished his working career for KBR in Afghanistan where he supported U.S. Troops on the base serving in the alarm and communications space.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Phillip Thomas Chaloner.
Roy is survived by his wife Patricia Nabors Chaloner of 42 years, son Kevin (Maggie), daughter Kimberly (Jake Horne), grandsons Cole & Benjamin Chaloner, and Jett Horne. He is also survived by his sister Liz Chaloner, and mother-in-law Elizabeth Nabors.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Ms. Pat. Prayers for peace and comfort during this time. Roy was such a great friend. My children still talk about our vacation there in 2007. He made such a great impression on them to be thought of so many years later. You will be missed Commo1
Pat, I'm so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. We've been out of touch for so long and I had lost your phone number. But I still know how to get to the home over at the lake. I remember working with Roy on the tower.
Let me know if you need anything. I'm still at the same house and my number is 501-565-9185, which is now my cell. God bless you and the kids and their young'uns.
Chuck
