I have been missing Dan at meetings. We go all way back to DeQueen.
Dan you always greeted me with than infectious grin. Thank you for all the encouragement you gave me and other young surveyors. DDSM you will be missed.
I will truly miss Dan, a dedicated Land Surveyor and first-rate intellect. He always had a challenging and useful outlook on the many issues of our profession - new challenges and ancient problems. I had many conversations with Dan and always came away wiser and impressed and inspired with his dedication to our profession. I wish I could have just one more conversation with him. On the True Line, Dan.
This is to Gerry; Even though I didn't know Dan personally, I felt Like I knew him through you. My heart truly breaks for you as you continue on without Dan. My prayer for you is that God our Lord and maker will give you strength and lift you up in his wonderful loving caring hands and protect and guide you every step of the way. I know he was the love of your life. And what a wonderful example you set as Dan's loving Wife. I know you will miss Dan everyday. Dan is now healed and will be waiting at the Gates of Heaven when God reunites you both. Jason, take care of Gerry she will need you more now than ever. Tina Wilson
It is with a heavy heart that I sign this guestbook. I've known Dan for a number of years, and have always been proud to call him my friend. My condolences to his family. Rest in Peace!
I never met Dan but spoke with him on several occasions. He was always willing and eager to give a gypsy surveyor advice about the Little Rock area. Rest in Peace brother.
I was surprised and very sad to hear that Dan had passed. He was a great friend and mentor to me who I will truly miss. I was also very sad to be out of town at the time and had to miss the memorial service. He will long be remembered in the hearts of those he impacted - and there are many of us - by his lessons about surveying and entertaining stories. God bless and rest in peace, Dan.

Dan I will miss our long talks and your jokes. I enjoyed working with you for over 20 years. You will be truly missed. Rest in Love my friend.
Sad to lose a wonderful man . Dan was my Uncle . He was such a hoot growing up . I did not know of the services until August 4. Wish I had known as I would have wished to say goodbye . RIP Uncle Dan .
I was very sad to learn of Dan's passing. I worked with him for quite a few years. His tales were sometimes amazing, frequently entertaining, usually educational, and always worth hearing. I enjoyed visiting with him most while he held court on the crude bench behind the office building. He was more than a practitioner, he was a true lover of the surveying profession.
Just learned Dan’s service has already passed. Am sure Dan’s many many friends and former colleagues didn’t get the info in time. Worked with him for almost 20 years, and he endlessly amazed me with his surveying professionalism, social discourse, and jovial nature. I loved DDSM...a great guy,who we’ll all miss dearly.

Dan was a good friend and teacher - always teaching, and always willing to take the time to explain to someone who wanted to learn.
Dan was a friend to all.
