To all my cousins and their extended families, I'm sorry that we couldn't be there in person but time and distance precluded such. Shelby and I offer our heart-felt condolence to all. We love all of y'all; even those we may have never met in person. No matter how many miles and years separate us, we're all still family and I'm forever thankful that God allowed me to be a member of this one. Aunt Ellen was a truly remarkable woman and life on earth will be a bit dimmer without her here. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future. Until then, please be safe and in good health. Blessings to all, John and Shelby Powell.
Robin, I just heard of your mother’s passing. I am so very sorry for your loss of your sweet Mom. Praying for comfort for you and your family!!!
Aunt Ellen, one of the strongest women I have truly ever known. You were a wonderful example of a true prayer warrior. You lived your life as an example of christian obedience and love and your legacy of beautiful children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews will live on sharing that love forward.
Thank you. We all needed to experience that love and example.💕💞

Rest In Peace Grandma Ellen.
My thoughts, prayers and love go to all the Powell family. Ellen (Grandma) was the most beautiful, loving, caring and devoted Christian. She always put her family first. Grateful to know she's not suffering, and in heaven and in God's hands. Love you EllenðŸ™â¤
Dear Dewayne, Danny, Linda, Donna, Robin, Annette & Dianne, We wanted to let you know of our sincere sympathy for your family in the loss of Aunt Ellen. Losing your mother brings a flood of memories and emotions. We have good memories of Aunt Ellen and how the door to her home was always open for company. The more the merrier! We look forward to visiting with her in Heaven someday; we’re sure she will have an open door at her mansion as well!
We are sorry but have previously scheduled medical appointments that will hinder us from attending services. 2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 2 Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Love & prayers,
Rick & Phyllis Jaquess

So hard to let them go but such a blessing to know they are now in the arms of Jesus and we will be together again.
