I served with Joel in the Navy. He was a great guy and a wonderful mentor. He was one of the first people I met when I got there. Just a genuine soul. Veronica, I was so shocked to hear of Joel’s death. While it has been 20 years since we all started the wild ride of summer Greek, I remember Joel as one of the many who took great delight in picking on me, though why, I’ll never know.
