Joyce Oneda Beavers, 84, of Conway, went to be with the Lord, July 21, 2021. She was born February 11, 1937 in Damascus, AR, to the late Woodrow and Dorothy (Fowler) Beavers. Joyce worked 30 plus years with Sterling which later became McCrory Department Store. She attended Robinson and Center Church of Christ. After retirement Joyce cared for her parents until they passed. She was preceded in death by her parents and cousins, Shirley and Floyd Dycus.
Joyce is survived by her cousin and caregiver, Lisa (Shawn) Schichtl, their three children, Austin Schichtl, Madisyn Schichtl, and Shawn D. (Drake) Schichtl and their daughter, Saylor.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10:00AM at Fowler Cemetery in Damascus, AR.

I worked at Sterlings with Joyce for about 6 years starting in 1962. She was a quiet soft spoken lady. Never had a cross word for anyone. May she Rest In Peace.

I worked with Joyce for a year or so at McCrory's. She was such a sweet and patient lady! I still have a jewelry box she gave me at a Xmas party. She will be missed.
