Marie Johnson, 95 0f Searcy, AR passed away on July 8th 2021 in the comfort of her own home, in the presence of her daughter, Phronda Ray (Gary Williams), her granddaughter, Ramona Thomas and grandson-in-law, Anthony Thomas by her side.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life for 76 years, Delmer Johnson, her son James Johnson, her parents Clarence and Carlene Fansler, a sister, Dorthel Webb and a nephew, Reggie Story.
Marie was also survived by a great-granddaughter, Jessica Meyers (Sean), two great-grandsons, Eric Agee (Ashley) and Haden Thomas, one great-great granddaughter, Kylee Agee; two sisters, Betty Birch and Maxine Nelson; five nieces, Dianna Story Crum (Robert), Debi Story Maddox (Michael), Teresa Webb Wilkinson (Bearl), Lana Middleton Taylor and Suzzane Nelson Seely (Chris) five nephews, Jerry Webb (Betty), Ronnie Story (Sissy), Jeff Webb (Sandy), Marlon Middleton and Randy Story (Melinda).
Marie lived a fully dedicated life to the Lord and her family and friends. At the age of 23, she became an ordained Assembly of God minister and proudly spread the word of God to wherever she was called.
The family would like to extend a special thanks and gratitude to the team of nurses she had in her final few days from Arkansas Hospice.

Marie definitely shared her early life well spreading the gospel . Know so many lives were touched by her ministry and loving character. The video collection of pictures was a beautiful tribute to her life and family. I know my parents, Fred & Gail Benton) sure loved them both and talked about them often. Continued prayers of strength for the family, for you will always carry her sweet spirit in your hearts.

How this life is like a vapor. Even 95 years seems like the blink of an eye. I consider it a genuine privilege to have Aunt Marie in my life. She will be missed more than words can convey.
