Evelyn ''Peggy'' Austin, 91, of Lepanto, AR passed away July 9, 2021. She was born January 14, 1930 in Union County MS, to Virgel Thomas and Nanie Mae Wigington Rakestraw. She was a factory worker, a former member of Luxora First Baptist Church and Dyess Central Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed flowers of all types. She is survived by her sons: Billy D. (Leticia) Austin, Charles Maxey (Debbie) Austin and James (Pam) Austin; her daughters: Sheila Tricarico, Ronnie G. Driskill and Peggy Delores (Gary) Permenter; Twenty-Two grandchildren; Thirty-Six great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and with Two on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband: Billy C. Austin her parents; sons: Craig Austin and John Austin; one grandson Chad Austin; sister: Keron Tate; brothers: Jack Rakestraw and Bill Rakestraw.
