What a joy Mrs. Pendergrass was! We had so many laughs and fun in her apartment. She was a very good, caring, keeper of family, friends, and neighbors who loved her.
A new star is in the sky.
I have very wonderful memories of Mrs. Duty in Broadmoor growing up. She certainly was a good sport with all the silly girls shenanigans. May God’s peace surround your hearts and may happy memories bring a smile.
Kay and other family members -

All my thoughts, love, and prayers!
I have so many many memories of Duty. She was sweet, loving, kind and always a great afternoon visit. To the girls I say loved you all.
Dear Pendergrass girls, so many happy times over the years. We grew up, our folks took some great trips together, photo albums full. Duty was loved by everyone, her big smile was always present. We are very fortunate being born into families such as ours. Loving thoughts and fond memories will remain in my heart always. Mom, will be sad to learn of her dear friend’s passing.

Kay, Patsy & Janet -
So sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. Although we all weren’t the closest of cousins, I thought of her & y’all often.
I know she’s happy to be reunited with Penny & Bill as well as others. I’m anticipating NinaLee will be joining them all too soon.
I would come to service if you’ll let me know when & where. Otherwise, hugs for you all.

Duty was a great lady. While she lived to be nearly 100, she maintained a young spirit throughout her life. She will be missed. Her family and friends will be in my prayers.
