of St. Joe, AR
August 11, 1957 - July 3, 2021
Patsy Helen Cash, age 63 of St. Joe, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 at her home. She was born in Harrison, Arkansas on August 11th, 1957 to Lunceford Newton Cash and Virgie Cleo Hurd Cash.
Patsy attended Church by the River in St. Joe. She was a strong woman of God and loved her church family. Patsy believed in hard work. She put her heart and soul into every job she worked, including everything from a bus driver to a hair dresser. However, her favorite job was being a farmer. She loved to check on and name her cows. She was always so excited to see new calves every spring and fall. Patsy had a soft spot for all animals and often had a plethora of kittens, dogs, chickens, goats and even a pot bellied pig named Wilbur that she occasionally referred to as Hitler because of his inability to stop terrorizing the neighbors. Patsy was loved by so many people and will be dearly missed. She is without a doubt dancing in the streets of heaven.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Davis Harris Jr. (Graci) of St. Joe, Adam Lee Harris of Marshall and Scarlett LeeAnn Smith (Matt) of St. Joe; grandchildren, Adam Ray Harris, Lydia Smith, Noah Smith, Kenneth Legend Harris and Newton Harris; siblings, Lorraine Fowler, Hattie Baker (Kenny), Fon Cash (Debbie), Bonnie Glidewell (Doug), Modene Curtis (Phillip), Belle Star Moreland (Tim) and Lilly Roberts (Charles "Kin"); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Lunceford Cash and Virgie Hurd Cash.
Graveside services for Patsy will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 5th, 2021 at Hall Cemetery near Snowball with Bro. Tyler Owens and Bro. Nathan Middleton officiating. Bearers will be Ken Harris, Adam Harris, Matt Smith, Adam Ray Harris, Allen Glidewell and Jacob Glidewell. Patsy will be missed by so many folks.
She was always kind and thoughtful no matter her situation. We were the best of childhood friends. I had the opportunity to spend about three hours with her in May. She drove me over her farm and showed me her cows and baby calves. We played with her dogs and held baby kittens. We did a lot of reminiscing of our childhood together on the Buffalo and shed tears when we parted. RIP sweet friend/cousin until we meet again.
You were loved by many.
