My late parents and sister, Doug and Nell Johnson and Wanda Jane, and I were blessed by knowing Mr. Jerry Carey. I remember that I knew that I would see him and all of the family every time I was in church. I always admired Mr. Jerry, who always had a greeting for all. My thoughts and my prayers for solace and peace are offered to your family May Mr. Jerry rest in the embrace of our Lord.

Remembering Jerry's family during this time of his passing. He and his brothers were great friends of my Mom and Dad, Pastor Marshall and Edna Mae Dark, when we lived in Elaine in the early 1960s. Sending prayers and hugs for comfort and peace.

Uncle Jerry was a great uncle to me - I loved the summers spent in Elaine as a kid and teenager - very fond memories. He was a wonderful man and will be truly missed. It is nearly impossible to put into words what someone means to you when they have passed on but I am grateful that I will see him again one day when we are reunited together with our Savior in Heaven. We grieve but with great hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13). My love to all the family.
