Brenda Burnes, age 62 of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on June 15, 2021. Brenda was born June 8, 1959 in Illinois to parents John and Vinnie Cheney. Her smile and loving free spirit will be missed by many.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband David Garris and her daughter Dawn Michelle Whittemore (Jason) of Westmoreland, Tennessee. She also leaves her brother James Cheney (Shirley) of Memphis, Tenness and two sisters, Barbara Leverett of Crenshaw, Mississippi and Faye White (Robert) of Hughes, Arkansas. She will be deeply missed by two grandchildren, Michala Burnes and Austin Henley. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents.
