Charlie Newcomb, 80, of Harrisburg departed this life June 11, 2021. Born June 17, 1940, in Tyronza to Charlie and Margaret (Luna) Newcomb he was a member of the Drover Cowboy Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, worked at American Greetings and was a retired farmer. Mr. Charlie loved woodworking and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Newcomb; sisters, Cleo Dillard, Beulah Ellison and Arlene Newcomb.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of fifty-nine years, Martha Ann (Chadwick) Newcomb; sons, Charles (Angel) Newcomb, James (Dana) Newcomb and Paul (Sara) Newcomb; grandchildren, Chassity Partain, Jordan Ragsdale, Allyson Meilke, Chelsley Dockins, Deanna Taylor, Iris Newcomb, Emily Newcomb, Ethan Newcomb, Makayla Newcomb and Kynlee Newcomb; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous adopted grandkids; and brothers, Ernie (Carol) Newcomb and Johnny Newcomb.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Ave., Jonesboro, AR 72401 with Chance Watson officiating. Visitation will precede service 10:00 - 11:00 am.

Burial will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will by Ethan Newcomb, Jordan Ragsdale, Parker Jones, Zach Taylor, Tommy Maloney and Brady Dockins. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Drover Cowboy Church.

In lieu of flowers, lasting memorials may be made to the Drover Cowboy Church, P. O. Box 61, Harrisburg, AR 72432.
