Lee Edward Coleman, age 83, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Friday, May 28, 2021. He was born on October 1, 1937, in Madison Arkansas the son of Posie and Sylvia (Belcher) Coleman.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Lasley and Joseph; his sisters Julie and Clara; and his grandsons, Aaron Ray and Jeremy Vaughn.

Lee retired from the Carpenters Union in Memphis, Tennessee after working there for more than 30 years. He loved spending time with his family and fishing with his son, who is also his best friend, Phillip Coleman.

Lee is survived by his daughters, Lisa Adams, Kay Hunt, and Randi Smith (Jeff) of Mississippi; his son, Phillip Coleman (Stella Vaughn) of Salem, Arkansas; his sisters, Rosetta Brown (Charles) and Carol Royce; his brothers, David (Ruth) and Richard, Roy (Vonalou); and his grandsons, Anthony, Tyler, and Spencer; his granddaughters, Addison, Emma, and Jolene; his great-granddaughters, Kiersten and GG; his great-grandsons, Liam and Hunter; and a host of nieces and nephews.


A graveside service was at Smith Cemetery in Vendor, Arkansas on June 5, 2021, at 2:00 PM, with Brother Ohmer Dyal officiating.
