Betty ''Sue'' Crain Britt, died peacefully on May 26, 2021. Born to J.C. and Ruth Crain on November 16, 1933, in New Albany, MS. Sue excelled in academics, graduating from high school at 16 years old and later attending business school in Memphis.

After marrying the love of her life, Tom Britt, Sue worked and raised her children in Louisiana, Tennessee, and Arkansas. She was devoted to her church and community and served both faithfully. Sue will be remembered for her graciousness, her love of chocolate, and for being an exceptional mother.

Sue was predeceased by her parents, husband, and brothers, Robert and James Earl. She is survived by her children, Benny (Amy), Russ, and Carolyn, sister, Billie Smith; grandchildren, Alex (Cody), Sean (Cassidy), Morgan, and Lauren; great-granddaughter, Emma Benton; two nieces, three nephews; special neighbors and friends. Special thanks to Agnes Moss and Karen Williams for their dedicated care and love for Sue.

A graveside service will be held in New Albany, MS at Glenfield Memorial Park on June 5, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.

I’m sorry that I didn’t meet your parents. I didn’t know that I had any Britt relatives in Ark. The Britt’s came from Tippah County MS.
