Mary Sue Blaylock, 84, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord, May 24, 2021. She was born August 16, 1936, to Vernon and Myrtle Quattlebaum. Mary was a survivor; she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1994 and given 6 months to live. She won her battle with cancer. Mary loved spending time with her family especially, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Blaylock reunions. She was a great cook and made a cookbook for each of her children. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel for over 40 years. She worked as a transcriptionist and enjoyed bowling. Mary was a member of the Central Arkansas USBC serving as their secretary for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Robert Blaylock; daughter, Julie Blaylock; brother, Verlon Quattlebaum; and sister, Charlene Blakey. Mary is survived by six children, Kenny Kirby (Annette); Mark Blaylock (Terri); Connie Schroepfer (Terry); Becky Smith; Vicki Lipsey; Terry Smith (Mike); 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.

We would like to thank Home Instead, Kindred Hospice and Hospice Home Care for their excellent care of our mother.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Friday, May 28, 2021 in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway with visitation starting an hour before the service at 10 am. Masks are optional.

Vicki, I'm so sorry for you and your families loss. Most of my memories are when you were just a little girl. I'm sorry I never got to take her bowling this last year. She and I shared love of this sport. God bless you and your family.

She was a very sweet person. I enjoyed bowling with her and also competing in many tournaments with her. She loved to bowl. So sorry to the family.
