Lenora Evelyn ''Sis'' MacBride, age 89, died on May 20, 2021 at her home in Clinton, Arkansas. She was born on May 24, 1931 in Sikeston, Missouri to Leo and Nola Brown.
Sis grew up in Sikeston, Missouri and lived there until August 2020. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sikeston.
On July 2, 1949, she married John Henry MacBride.
Sis loved her family like no other and was so very proud of her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her one and only great-great-granddaughter. She was a strong woman who loved the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Nola Brown, husband, John Henry MacBride, one brother, Therold Brown, and grandson, Wade Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynda MacBride Marsden and her husband, Rev. Vaughn Marsden of Clinton, Arkansas; one sister, Anita Keasler (Jim) of Duncanville, Texas; two granddaughters Annalisa Marsden Hall of Clinton, Arkansas and Reagan Marsden Smith and husband Aaron Smith of Damascus, Arkansas. One great-grandson Kalyn Clemons of Clinton, Arkansas; three great-granddaughters, Adalyn Hall of Clinton, Arkansas, Kendall Pounds and Savannah Smith of Damascus, Arkansas; and her great-great granddaughter, Chealzea Clemons of Clinton Arkansas. She is also survived by ''grandson'' Jason Pounds of Sikeston Missouri and ''grandson'' Jeremy Clemons of Judsonia Arkansas. She also leaves behind her best friend and neighbor, Loretta Henley of Sikeston Missouri and her cousin Bobbie Righter of Sikeston Missouri and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Damascus Methodist Church at 2:00 pm with burial at Spires Cemetery in Damascus, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
