My oldest brother was a very good example of being a responsible, faithful family man. He loved his wife, his children, his parents, his siblings, his grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his neighbors.
That didn't just happen. He surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. He invested in the eternal rewards he is now reaping. His wife joined him this month as a heavenly sister.
Late note. I just know Jimmy would want his Redeemer in his obituary. We had a wonderful time singing the old Gospel hymns the last time we were together. Singing praises together will be continued when we get together again. Jesus is the way, the Truth and the life. Hallelujah!
Grace and peace to all the family and friends of Jimmy. “Well done good and faithful servant.
My heart is with all of y’all. It’s such a hard loss. Still remember meeting him. He is the kind of man that leaves an impression. Will continue thinking of you and family
So sorry to hear of Jimmy passing. Another piece of our past gone before us. He was a friend and mentor.
I have such great memories of Jimmy. His sister, Mildred, & I were really close friends in Marianna. I spent a lot of time at their house. My daddy worked for the 7up Bottling company so you may remember our family. Jimmy & I found each other on Facebook & it was a treat to be in touch w/him again. I loved your Dad & my heart hurts for y'all. Take care & be safe. Love, Nancy
I got to know Mr Jimmy and his wife whenever I visited my aunt in Jonesboro. I know he will be missed by a lot of people! I will be praying for the family.
One of the best uncles around always had cool things to do around the house, horse riding. Motorcycle rides always easy to talk with and full of love and knowledge to pass down to anyone smart enough to listen. You will be missed and loved always.
My heart has simply been broken since I heard my uncle jimmy had passed, god bless you all going through the pain of losing him.
Uncle Jimmy was a wonderful southern gentleman with a beautiful smile and a twinkle in his eye. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be missed by all he left behind. We will meet again and God bless Aunt Joyce, who he loved with all his heart, as well as his two boys, Brian and Mark. We wish we could be there but our hearts are with you. Mark and Brian, I only met Jimmy a couple of times but he was very friendly. I mostly sorta knew him through what you related to me, Mark. Which seems to have been a full, successful, and interesting life. And a generous one. I'm very sorry for your and Mrs. Foster's loss but am glad that you had visited the day before. Peace to all. John

One who travels with memory never walks alone. May the memory of Jimmy Foster be sufficient strength to follow the excellent advice that he gave as you walked together along life’s path.
