My love and comfort goes to Ralph and Sherry as well as the rest of Dorothy's family. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. She quietly served her community and church with grace and a fierce love of the Lord.
Rest in his arms now ,you earned it.
My heart goes out to all of u.Mrs Dorothy ,Mr Bob,and Mrs Mary Jane always treated me like family.Whether it was help with work, advice on life, religion,or recipes, anything really. They reminded me and showed me what a family truly is.Thank u Mrs Dorothy, Forever grateful,Raina
I worked with her at the cleaners part time with her one summer and loved it! I could not even thread a needle so anytime I needed help I went next door, she fixed it in 30 seconds, hems, buttons, sleeves. She said, Rogina, your grandmother can sew better than me. I said, I know but I made a "D" in home Ec...and nobody will even help me.! She was fantastic and I enjoyed her, My parents were good friends of both Bob and Dorothy. I am so lucky to have lived next door to this great family. I wonder did she tell my mom she fixed all my clothes!
I was so sad to learn of Dorothy's death. She was not only a talented seamstress who served the Jonesboro community for years but also a dear sweet person and constant helpmate to Bob. I pray for peace and comfort for the Massanelli family during this difficult period of adjusting to life without her.
