Dalton Doyle ''Pops'' McGinty, 83, peacefully began his heavenly journey at his home in North Little Rock, AR, at 6:15pm on May 7, 2021, with his family by his side. A native of Greenbrier, AR, and eldest of 9 children born to the late Cecil and Willie (Powell) McGinty. He believed in hard work and taking care of family.
He was an expert welder and assembler. A factory worker since he was 18 for companies such as Virco '58-'72, Twin Tables '72-'81, Macrosky's '81-'82 and finally retired from AmTran Bus Company in 2000 after 17 years.
Pops will be remembered as a man who was never at a loss for words. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and collecting hot wheels. He could usually be found drinking a beer by the pool or tinkering in his shop where he could fix or rig just about anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 54 years, Martha Jean (Childers); daughter, Veronica Grage; sister, Reda Childers; brothers, Arnold, Landel and Danny.
Survived by his sisters, Mary Rickett, Geanie Wickliffe, Diane (Ted) Frizzell; a brother, Darrell (Anita) McGinty; son, Doyle Wayne McGinty; daughter, Karla (Brian) Pierce; son-in-law, Trent (Yvonne) Grage Sr.; daughter-in-law, Sandy McGinty; grand/son, Justin (Rebecca) McGinty; as well as 9 grandchildren, Trent (Kayla) Grage, Jr., Michael Grage, William (Brittany) Pierce, Sara McGinty Coon, Joseph (Alexandria) Pierce, Ashlynn (Logan) Worley, Jerald (Reagan) McGinty, Amy McGinty, Samantha Pritchett; 16 great- grandchildren, Brayden Grage, Destiny Franks, Dallas Deason, Trent Grage III, Darien Franks, Casen McGinty, Addison Pierce, Arianna Williams, Lara Pierce, Jacob Pierce, Journee Deason, Rhett Worley, Willa McGinty, Luke Pierce, Keyvona Johnson, Kylan McGinty. He will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 1:00-2:00pm, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, AR. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm followed by a graveside service and burial at McGinty Town Cemetery.

Uncle Dalton - what an amazing man. He spoke so much simply with his quiet presence and his subtle smile. He let us know he loved us by a gentle nod rather than with a host of words. But that look in his eyes and his faithful steadiness fostered security; his consistency let us know that everything was ok. His spirit will always live in our love and forever thrive our memories. I love you guys.
