of Flippin, AR
May 14, 1951 - May 9, 2021
Glenn Hrenko passed away Mothers Day, May 9, 2021 in Saint Louis, Missouri after a short illness. He loved his family, friends, fishing and auctions. Glenn had a compassionate heart always giving to anyone he thought he could help. He never passed a Salvation Army bucket without making sure a donation was put in each and every time. He believed in paying it forward in life and instilled that kindness in his children.
Glenn loved all sports but especially baseball. He coached his children through the years and worked with professional baseball after high school before moving to Louisiana and working on the mapping of the Mississippi River. He had a degree in Engineering and was a Professional Land Surveyor and Mapper licensed in multiple states.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda Hrenko, two sons Max and Jake Hrenko of Flippin, step son Christopher (Grace) of Farmersville Station, New York and brothers, John (Nanette) of Florida, Karl (Linda) of Georgia, Ray (Linda) of San Diego and Nick (Julie) of Florida. He had three grandchildren and multiple nieces, nephews.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, John and Caroline Hrenko as well as one grandchild, Aaron Miller Hrenko.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled with details to follow.
Though I haven't seen Glenn since high school (century ago!) - he was in my class and we were physiology partners - funny, kind, mischievous! Just so so nice. My siblings all went to school with wonderful Hrenkos and we send you our condolences.

Glenn always brought a smile to my face. Gone too soon, never forgotten.
I remember playing baseball with you at my Mom and Dad's farm in Linden. Pa. Your whole family was there for a picnic.
Happy Birthday, Uncle Glenn! While you are dearly missed, our grief is obscured by the great joy of knowing you are face-to-face with Jesus. We pray your soul is and eternal rest. You are loved!
Glenn taught me some great life lessons. He taught me all about the ins & outs of baseball. Indirectly, he taught me how to not get caught by mom & dad. He wasn’t especially good in practice but that led to him being a good teacher. While working with his crew on the Mississippi, he taught me how to work really hard & that life is tough. But most of all, he taught me to laugh & have fun. I miss you & I love you Glenn!
Sorry for your loss our prayers are with ya'll
