Mattie Reeves, age 91, of Marble Falls, Arkansas, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Somerset Senior Living At Harrison. She was born October 2, 1929 in Oil City, Louisiana, to Joseph McKnight and Annie Laura Rabb. She worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Jack Reeves.
Mattie is survived by her daughter, Julie (Gary) Smith; her son, Timothy (Robin) Reeves; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is to be held at a later date.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Mattie (Johnette ) was a life savor for my boys when they were young - especially Monty. I will never forget her many Acts of Kindness nor those of her husband, Charles. What a wonderful example of how human beings should be. Mattie was a strong woman when she needed to be. I admired her very much for her strength in things she had to handle as well as her gentleness and kindness. She was a no nonsense woman while at the same time, took a lot of extra care for her family. I miss her but know she is in a better place. God Bless you and your family!
