Violet Childers

January 18, 1934 - May 1, 2021

On May 1st, 2021, Violet Childers passed away at home. She was 87 years old. Violet is survived by her husband : Billy Childers; their daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and Kirk Lewis of Pensacola, Florida; three grandchildren: Nathan Lindley, Paula Lindley, Billy Edings, Bethany Edings of Joiner, Arkansas and three great grandchildren: Amber Lindley, Chase Lindley and Gloria Edings. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers and her son: Robert W. Childers. Violet married her high school sweetheart and love of her life Billy Childers in 1951. They welcomed Nancy in 1955 and Robert in 1962. Mrs. Childers worked 30 years for Rivercrest School district. She loved to read and sing in her church choir. Most of all she loved her Lord and her family. Proverbs 31:28-30: Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises: Many women have done excellently but you surpass them all!
Visitation for Mrs. Childers will be held on Wednesday, May 5th from 6pm to 8pm at Roller Swift in Osceola, Arkansas. A memorial service for Violet Childers is scheduled for 2pm on Thursday, May 6th at Roller Swift in Osceola Arkansas. It will be immediately followed by a graveside burial ceremony at Louise Chapel in Joiner, Arkansas. Flowers and condolences can be sent to Roller Swift in Osceola Arkansas.

So sorry to learn of Violet’s passing. I believe she was a grade ahead of me in school.
