On Friday April 24th, 2021, the sun rose, and Heaven welcomed Annabell (Baskin) Schmatjen. Born to Dewey Buchanan Baskin and Essie (Jacobs) Baskin on April 28th,1935 in Harmony, Arkansas.
Annabell was raised to have steadfast faith, commitment to family and community, and integrity. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures that included preparing meals for family, friends and those in need, holiday traditions that delighted all and admiring nature's beauty. Her compassionate heart led her into a fulfilling career in nursing. Her healing hands and gentle spirit comforted many patients.

Proceeded in death by her husband Daniel Schmatjen, sisters Reba and Marilyn, brothers Blake, Wade and Garth. Her son Mark Alan Wyers, grandson Horace Daniel Wyers and the father of her children George D. Wyers.

She is survived by a brother Dr. Jack Baskin, her children, Danny (Mary), Diane (Sam), Pamela, and Lisa (Rick), stepdaughter Lisa (Ricky) and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by the many lives she gracefully touched.

Please join us in honoring Anna Bell at her beloved family church, Harmony Presbyterian, in which she was a dedicated charter member. Services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside committal to follow at Harmony Cemetery.

Immediately following, all are welcome to a celebration of life with an old- fashioned BBQ picnic at the home of Dustin and Richelle Austin. 14298 Lee Point Road, Ozark
