of Cabot, AR
April 8, 1930 - April 21, 2021
After 91 years on this earth, Heaven has gained an angel. Norma Ellis Walls, born on April 8, 1930, in Richmond, Virginia and living in Cabot, Arkansas, passed and went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2021. Norma fought for a long time with Melanoma and all the complications that go with it. She was a strong woman and we have gained our strength from her.
She went peacefully as we all prayed, she would. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Walls; her parents, Marvin and Virginia Ellis; and her sister, Lois Ellis Barefoot. She will now be reunited with her family that are waiting for her.
Norma worked for Gene Lockwood for the majority of her career. She went from full time to three days a week and finally retired several years ago.
Norma leaves behind her daughters, Ginger (Randy) Ten Eyck and Cindy (Jim) Baggett. Along with her granddaughters, Jennifer Burnett and Marissa Burnett. She was very active in her daughters' and granddaughters' lives. We now have a guardian angel to look over all of us as we continue our journey through life.
Norma was a member of the 16th Section Methodist Church. She was an officer in the Mountain Springs Volunteer Fire Department. She was active in her 16th Section Good Neighbors Club. Norma enjoyed socializing with her friends and her community.
Visitation will be Friday, April 30, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and funeral services on Saturday, May 1, at 10:00 a.m., both at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock. Followed by burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 AR-5 North, Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations made in Norma's name be made to CARTI.
