I’m so very sorry to learn of Jacks passing. He was such a great guy. I’ve know him since 1962. He and my husband Russ were close friends. I have great memories of him and Darla and Marilyn. He was there for me when Russ got sick, visiting him in the hospital and when I brought him home . I’ve been to Holy Sepulchre to visit his wife and son grave. I would appreciate it if you could let me know when you plan to go there so I could be there for the placing of his ashes. I know that he wanted to be with them, but the cemetery only allowed two. He was there for me I would like to be there for him. My heart goes out to you as I know you were special to him. My phone number is in his cell if you prefer to call rather than email. He was always taking care of people, Darla, , Marilyn , butch, me in my hour of need. I would love to do something for him. Love and hugs.

Hi Jack,
We'll miss you very much lad, but we'll always remember the good times we had together, starting with when we lived on the southwest side of Chicago at just just 12 years old playing ball, ushering at the State Lake theater with Bob Johnson in downtown Chicago. Calumet High school days together, double dating, your marriage to Darla, Evie and my marriage, times with our children Scott, Sue, Karen, Tom and Nancy, your marriage to Marilyn. The get togethers with our wives and Russ & Barb Novotny. All the pinochle card games with our wives, fishing trips with Jim Durham and Russ Novotny in Kentucky. the poker games with our brothers Tom, Dave & Clem, and other friends.
Yes, we'll miss you very much, but our many years as best friends will continue into eternity.
