Donna
I know and understand the lost of a dad. A part of you left with him, but you are one of the strongest women I’ve known in my lifetime. You will always be daddy’s girl. Gregory, Reggie and now David. Just remember God gives his hardest battles to his strongest warriors. He’s got you sweetie. I’m praying for you and your mom and your family as a unit. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. There’s going to be a lot of pennies from Heaven. Always remember that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal. You will see them all on the other side, until then smile at the good times. Cherish the memories and no that they loved you!! May God give you peace and comfort is my prayer.
Love you
Karen

Doris, so sad to hear this. Been a long time since we saw each other at Nancy’s but always admired you and David for your devotion to each other. It’s a hard road. I lost the love of my life two years ago and hope you have the support of all of your family. Lots of love, Aletta

I served all of those 6 years in the Guard with David. He was a good soldier who never lost his sense of humor regardless of the situation.

Doss Family, I am so sorry to hear about David passing, I was thinking of him just this week, wondering if he was still farming. He was a friend and school mate, and added a lot of fun to life at school. I see he has lots of family who gave him joy in life, and I know he will be greatly missed. God be with each of you and bring comfort.

Saddened by the news of David's passing.

David and I spent many happy days al little boys at Dyess. I lived across Road 1 from Mr. Doss' garage and we played around it and the cotton where I lived. Our friendship lasted the rest of our lived.

Rest in peace friend.
