Ernestine Hollowell Doucet, age 81, was born on April 13 1939 in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas to Warren Alvis and Margaret Ella Ann (Maggie) Hollowell. She went to the lord April 1, 2021 in Austin, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Doucet; her sisters, Veda Holland, Mildred Skelton, M. E. Skelton, and Dean Clark; brothers, Robert Warren (R.W.) Hollowell, Wayne Hollowell; and five nephews Jerry Holland, Gene Skelton, Gary Don Skelton, Ricky Hollowell, and Mathew Anderson.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Marie Doucet Smith and her husband, John Alan Smith of Austin, Arkansas. Granddaughter, April Nicole Smith Davis and her husband, Jonathan Davis, granddaughter, Kelly Elizabeth Smith Reynolds and her husband, Tyler Reynolds and three great grandchildren, Alyssa Marie, Avianna Nicole, and Jakob L C Reynolds all of Cabot, Arkansas. Her sisters, Georgia Claxton and her husband, Jimmy of Cushman, Kathleen Mason and her husband, Kenny Mason of Batesville; sisters-in-law, Billie Hollowell of Mount Pleasant and Judith Hollowell of Melbourne; and several cousins, nieces and nephews all of whom she loved very much.
Pallbearers are Rodney Claxton, Randy Tinsley, Anthony Skelton, Terry Clark, Don McCollum, Rick Garrett, Chris Anderson, and Sky Clark.
Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Mason, Jimmy Claxton, Roy Skelton, Keith Skelton, and Phillip Claxton.
There will be a family only service due to Covid officiated by Cory Majors.
Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral home of Batesville.
