I feel lucky to have wonderful memories of Lucy and Doug. These would go back to 1970-1975. The Hawkins would travel west of Waukon to pheasant hunt. I remember the careful preparations they made for their Alaska trip. I missed Lucy when she moved. May they both plan many more adventures now that they are together again. Many blessings to their families.

So sorry to hear about Lucy's passing. She was such a good friend to my late mother, Virginia Miller while they both lived in Providence Assisted Living. I always enjoyed listening to her share stories of her and Doug's life together. She has struggled this past year and I pray she is out of pain and happy to be with her family and friends, having a joyous reunion.
