Bennie was the cornerstone of his family and a pillar of the community. He was always there to lend a hand and tease you to keep you humble. He was a kind, smart man that could fix anything and someone you could always count on. He spent 40 years in construction and rarely missed one of his girls' ballgames after a long days work. He was a proud Mason and was baptized in the name of our Lord. He loved caring for his cows, baling his hay, helping out with community events and just running around visiting. People all over Arkansas knew him as Pappie.

He was a devoted father to two daughters, Tina Davis and husband Walt of Perryville and Teresa Bell and husband Greg of Witts Springs. He was the best Pappie to three granddaughters, Laticia Rainwater and husband Chad of Charleston, Callie Baldridge and husband Aaron of Quitman and Shelby Bell of Little Rock. Bennie is survived by three precious great-grandboys who he couldn't get enough of, Kortland Baldridge, Hudson Rainwater and Cayden Rainwater. He is also survived by his siblings, who he loved fiercely, Rick (Marge) Drewry of Western Grove, Dennis (Shirley) Drewry of Witts Springs, Norma Harkness of New Blaine, Millie (Millis) Jones of Alpena, Rose McCracken of Harrison and Lena (Royce) Jones of Harrison; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bennie is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Sibyl Drewry; siblings, Charlie L. Drewry and Mary Noble Drewry Reynolds; and nephews, Charles Harmon and Richie Drewry.

Thank you so much for all the happy times that Ricky spent staying in your yard while he was turkey hunting. He hasn’t been able to come in the last few years because of his own health problems but he enjoyed talking to you every year about it.
